sirf to nmea ! GPS

Hi , i have a gps with srif III chip!

but with my program :street and trip... i got this message :

The GPS Receiver is sending messages, but they are not being recognised as NMEA 2.0-compatible. Make sure the GPS receiver input/output format is set to deliver NMEA 2.0-compatible messages at the correct baud (4,800 bps)

i tried to change the bit rate to 4800...and nothing...i tried onother port...nothing...alwyas the same message!.

i know there is a ways to emulate something from sirf to nmea...but don't know how to do it.

We need the model number of the GPS receiver to help you further. Even though it's Sirf Star III, it should still use NMEA sentences, my guess is the baud rate is incorrect or the port is off. Try running xPort3 and split the signal out to the first 10 ports. Try each of those with your application and see if it works with any of them. If so, stop xPort3 and use the port it worked on.

I've lost all respect for Mo-Co-So within 1 minute on their website.

Accepted? By who? Links? References?

For real? Can you tell me how an online commerce website has a spelling mistake? And such an obvious one?

As opposed to imaginary testing? Maybe fictional?
