Great news (hope that an europe only version will come!)

I hate mappoint => No Dynamic Route Guidance & No Automatic Route Recalculation & No spoken instructions...

Only nicemap

For europe try mapsonic & destinator

Though it's for Pocket PC/PalmOS. You do get MapStore with it which is for the PC. Strange that you can't buy MapStore on its own though?

Be nice to know if MapStore has an OLE interface or similar to embed it in another application.

if you spend a couple of $ for aGPS as an add on to mappoint (and I mean just a few $) you can add routing, re-calculation, and voice instruction easily.

there's no sdk or cx with mapstore...

You can "pilot" it with using windows handle...

Yes you got mapsonic & mapstore in the package!

Mapsonic is a great choice:
Dynamic Route Guidance
Automatic Route Recalculation
spoken instructions... (.wav that you can update with your own)

SWI was bought by michelin now (let's wait for a new version)

But europ version of copilot will be great!

I've also heard that in addition to Copilot's improved voice recognition, there is improved voice synthesis! From what I've heard, this is a welcome feature! Look forward to learning how it sounds.
