CoPilot & Opus - Force Shutdown?

I have CoPilot 2003 and a 150W Opus.

If CoPilot is running when I turn off the car, the Opus will not shutdown the computer. Instead, CoPilot prompts to exit now. Anyway to avoid this and force shutdown regardless?

If only winamp or Media Engine is running, the shutdown works fine.

The best way I found around this kind of a problem is to make the computer Hibernate instead of Shutdown when th epower button is "pressed" by the opus shutdown controller. It's in your control panel / power for 2K or XP.. If you're in 98, your only option is really standby, but that may not be any good since it takes quite a bit more power than suspend to disk hibernate (which is the same as being off)

I have the same problem. There's no way I can do hibernate b/c half of my periferals wont work after waking up from hibernation. I have reboot after hibernate which defeats the purpose of hibernation. I need a way to force shutdown all the programs like Tejesh is after.

You could right a background process to look for that window... then force a yes I suppose. Personally I hibernate.

or you could just go into the Copilot options and uncheck the option to confirm program exit and it works just fine

I can't find that option.

Are you using CoPilot 2003?

You da man!

I never played with it enough to find Planning Mode. Thanks for opening up the new world of possibilities.

Theres also a lot of other options to customize (ie: show windows task bar). I needed that on my last trip down to florida. It was such a pain closing CoPilot just to change the current playing mp3 using the TouchScreen.
