Anyone using a Deluo with Routis SW?

I spoke to a sales person at Deluo, and he said the rand mcnally SW (which comes free with Deluo) is OK, but the Routis is worlds better.

The Routis is a $90 upgrade.

Anyone use the Deluo & Routis combonation? How is it?

-Thanks, AL

I'm using Routis and it is great. The interface is designed to be used from a touch-screen, it will re-calculate directions if you go off-course in about 5 seconds, and it works great with my Garmin ETrex.

The price is right too. I couldn't see spending over $300 for Co-Pilot, although everyone on this board loves it. Routis seems to offer the same key features for 1/3 the price.

The only down side is that it is not integrated into some type of carputer friendly program (ala Media Engine) or launcher (like MyHTPC).

Have you used Routis as an external app for a front end. I have tried using it with Media Engine 2.0 and with MediaCar. With both when I try to open it, it gives me an error saying "Sound Files are corrupted, please reinstall the program."

I have tried reinstalling and tried it on two different systems but nothing seems to work.
