GPS Software & Receiver

Has anyone here used any GPS Software without VGA and could see the street names and everything?

The reason I ask is because I have my system together and I want to get gps also but I don't wanna buy something that won't be viewable.

I was thinking of getting the Delorme Earthmate w/software.
Has anybody used this without vga?

Well, not entirely, because he *did* ask if anyone can recommend a package to use with a non-VGA screen...

You have a very similar setup to myself (I have the exact same screen) - hopefully I'll be able to get infomap fired up on the smaller screen later (been testing on laptop) - although I'd say Destinator is the kiddy for these screens - big clear buttons (superb with touchscreen) and large font text make it a breeze to see & use.

I have an 8" TFT VGA screen, and with Delorme Street Atlas RWE and with it Zoomed in to 150% it is quite legible.

Other than that, it is hard to read.

Put that in the FWIW category.

CoPilot is good for it. Very legible and nice layout. Problem is the propiratory nature of device. (good for first time purchase and after that... get ready to spend money down the road)
