Recommend me a receiver and software package

My CarPC is almost ready to be installed, now i need to find a USB package, I dont want to spend 300+ on copilot and find that i dont like it, is the overstock.com Delorme Earthmate deal good? is that receiver compatible with other software packages?

I have the Delorme Earthmate USB and found that I really like the mapping software that it is packaged with (Street Atlas 2004).

Very spiffy interface if you ask me.

Semsons offers a 10% discount to gpspassion.com members, and they have a lot of different bundles:
http://www.semsons.com/gpsbundle.html

The GPSPassion folks love the iGuidance software, and it looks very touchscreen friendly. And the best part is that you can get software AND the GPS for cheaper than Copilot alone. I'll be getting one of these (probably the i.Trek)

Cheers,

Taytay

I have earthmates usb gps and street atlas 2003 and I think it pretty much sucks. Half of the time I can't get a signal and the mapping is poor. Some of the street names do not even appear and when it does actually track me, sometimes it would show I am driving off the street that I'm on.
