Anybody out there let me have a copy of the SDK for destinator.
I have requested it three times now from powerloc but have still not received it, my copy of destinator has now turned up and i want to get started developing with it.
Thanks in advance.

When I requested it (twice...cos the download corrupted), they sent me a download link within a couple of minutes of me clicking the button
However, if you still can't get it by the time i'm home tonight (about 8hrs) then I shall give you a link to it on my webspace

I'm waiting too so if anyone has the D2 SDK that would be cool. I'm also waiting on free update for D3 as well as I only bought D2 a couple of weeks ago
Cheers

Hey all.
I have the Destinator2 SDK on my machine at home. My upload speed isn't too brilliant, but you're free to download it from me.
The address is http://teamanandtech.d2g.com/destsdk...tinatorSDK.zip

Bad news people. Destinator just switched EVERYTHING to Destinator 3. The D2 maps DO NOT work on D3. I have the D2 source if you want it, but it's useless unless you have the D2 maps. I have 8 days to switch EVERYTHING I have in my source code over to D3 and I'm really ****ed about it. ****in' Destinator keeps pulling this crap. They're not even selling the D2 maps anymore. **** 'em.

I would expect not. The Destinator 1 maps did not work in Destinator 2. The Destinator 3 maps are (as I understand) configured so they can be stitched together and chopped into manageable useful areas. Chances that the Destinator 2 map data format would support this are none, otherwise Destinator 2 would have worked like Destinator 3!

Now that doesn't seem fair, unless they're offering free upgrades to D2 owners (who are still in contract).

Looking at the destinator site, if you click on the upgrade to destinator 3, there is an option to upgrade the software only, that will use Destinator 2 Maps.
Mind you i only purchased D2 2 weeks ago from ISMO in the uk. I have emailed them 5 times about upgrade to D3 and so far have had no response. Also emailed Destinator on the subject and again no response.
The software is great, but so far my experience with both of these companies from an after sales point of view is crap.
Steve.
