GPS Receiver

I am installing a carputer in my car and I wanted to know what the best GPS receiver is. I want to use it with CoPilot or Streets and Maps 2004. I want a receiver that performs very well (in terms of reception and speed).
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :-)

Copilot 2001, 2002, 2003 use Copilot receiver or Rand Mcnally receiver. From what I've read Copilot Live7 can be used with any NMEA receiver. If you're gonna buy a receiver, buy the Garmin GPS16A it updates its position 5 times a second, WAAS capable, fast lock, programable sentence output to match different softwares. If I had to do it over again, I'd buy the Garmin GPS16A.
