I don't know if anybody has a use for something like this, but I wrote a simple little program to talk to a GPS receiver and dump the LAT/LONG along with a note to a text file. It's very simple, but it gets the job done.

OK, it doesn't actually talk to the GPS, it listens.

I've also included the source code there. If anyone is very interested, I might consider adding more features.
