Question Microsoft Streets & Trips or Mappoint??

Ok first off I live in Canada and I am looking for GPS software at the moment. I have heard a lot of people on this board like to use Mappoint 2004 but no stores near me sell it and when I look it up on the net it cost close to $400 CDN. To me that is a bit much. I see that MS Streets and Trips uses the same map data and costs no where near as much. Has anyone used Streets and trips and has any thoughts on it??

they are pretty much the same but mappoint as a whole SDK that you can use and a lot more power when it comes to mapping out regions. Its just not for route planning and such. S&T's is just your basic route planning app.

I have mappoint, and well...its not bad if you just want to see where you are
going, mind you I had to edit the defalut map with bigger fonts and stuff.
its good to start out with, But Im much more keen on the Destinator.

No, only Mappoint.

I found AGPS very hard to work with, Get Destinator or Routis.
