Photo based GPS navigation ?

Hi is there a simple gps software that shows your position on whatever card image ( jpeg for ex or bitmap) you tell him ? My idea is the following - like our little earth is well covert by satellite photos why not having your position dispplayed on a birdview photo of your region ?

any idea witch prog does this ?? i used google without sucess

Its crazy now but it wont be in the future

Remind me of a game called driver (I think). Where you drive around in street of london with real landmarks

Uh, you're either talking about Driver, in Miami, or Getaway in London... either way, metropolices like that might be doable like that, but BFE, Wi might be a bit more troubble... to place barns every 2 Miles
