anyone using SIRF mode?

A lot of people are using Sirf Gps…

But it seem that everybody use it with the standard NMEA mode 4800bds with it…

Any one use the “real” Sirf mode with higher refresh rate?

Only prog that I have tested in Sirf mode is “sirf demo”.

Any one succeeded with destinator or any other prog in sirf mode.

Note that destinator “auto-search GPS” block my gps. I have to use sirf demo to bring it back to nmea

Hi PTCruiser

I am using Sirf Mode with Destinator 1.8.1 (Sirf only) and the datarate is 38.400 baud. I am not using the GPS Module that was delivered with the Destinator due it's size (50x50cm) but I am using a homemade GPS module called SAM from ublox www.ublox.com (it is only 32x42mm). It works fine but I am not sure if it would work with the higher version of Destinator.
