Thought Destinator 3 for PC was supposed to be out by now!
Has anyone heard anything about this release? I was told when I bought D2, that I would get a free upgrade to D3 since I was really only interested in D3. D3 was supposed to be released in Q1 of 2004.

So far no D3 for PC.

Does anyone have a clue what happened to that release? D2 sucks. It is full of bugs.

Yep, it was supposed to be out by now.

The SDK was supposed to be out in January. They said a couple of weeks ago (when i sent a stern email) that a beta SDK would be middle of March...i'll give them a week

If you go here http://www.destinator1.com then click Products, scroll to the bottom and click "Buy Now" on the next page there is an "Upgrade from v2 to v3" link. You then need to login with your v2.0 serial number to get upgrade pricing.

I don't have v2.0 so I can't go any further than that but I'd like to know what the deal is as I may buy v2.0 just to upgrade later.

That's all fine and dandy except for the fact that V3.0 is not out yet for the PC. Only for the PocketPC. Unless I'm missing something.

Like I said, I was told I could get a free upgrade to V3.0 since I was buying it so close to V3.0 being released. I told them ahead of time I was not interested in buying Destinator 2, but I would do it if they upgraded me to 3 when it came out. They agreed.

But isn't the CE version the same price as the PC version, ergo whatever price they list to upgrade should be similar... might give us an idea.

I mailed them to ask about free upgrades if I purchase v2.0 now, will post when I hear something.

Well okay then... would anyone that has D2 be willing to login to the "Destinator Community" and tell the rest of us who haven't been promised anything how much they are asking for the D3 upgrade, even if it if for the WinCE version?

Its supposed to be the complete european update Ver 3.054. Its 1GB though.

Just for your info heres one guy said :

Just register on their forum and you can download the zipped files (approx.
1 GB)

However, you will need to get a working licence key (Destinator v2 or
higher) from someone (unless you want to buy the software .....)

My understanding was that D3 needs to be activated over the internet or by phone...
