I found this one

http://www.gpscity.com/gps/brados/21.../OEM16LVS.html

But it has a RJ-45 connector on the end, any idea how to wire it up so it can hook into a PC? The below link is the manual too it and it talks about doing it but im not sure how easy it would be to do it

Its been a long time, but I know there are guides out there for wiring up a garmin 16 to a standard serial port, as it was what i was going to use before I ended up buying the deloreme.

I've had a GPS-16 for about a year and it works fine although it isn't the smallest unit on the market. You can either make an adapter cable with an RJ-45 jack and a 9-pin connector on the other end or cut the RJ-45 connector off and put your own 9-pin connector on. Either way, you need to have a "Y" in the cable to provide the 12VDC required. I'd put a fuse in the 12V line too. Instead of a cable, I put two connectors in a small box with a fuse holder and a power switch and connector. Then I just use a standard 9-pin RS-232 cable to connect the computer to the box. The power connector matches one of the "brick" power supplies I had laying around. I can use it to power the GPS if I want to hook it up to the computer in the house for testing or whatever. The manual will have the pin-outs, and also has a couple of schematics for suggested hookups.

On that Navtech website they show they have a USB converter for it as well. Any idea of this works?

How about this one? It looks like it would work. WAAS and USB.

Am I reading it correctly, that is says it has 1 to 5 meter accuracy?

I don't know if this has been posted on this thread already and I apologize if it has. But, here's the current accuracy levels offered by GPS according to Garmin.

100 meters: Accuracy of the original GPS system, which was subject to accuracy degradation under the government-imposed Selective Availability (SA) program.

15 meters: Typical GPS position accuracy without SA.

3-5 meters: Typical differential GPS (DGPS) position accuracy.

< 3 meters: Typical WAAS position accuracy

I preordered the pc version of this new Garmin unit. It goes for about $85-90. You can buy it from amazon as well as online gps vendors, make sure to get the bare wire or pc version though, the usb only supports garmin data format. http://www.garmin.com/products/gps18/
