Question GPS Radio

Hello. I was wondering if any of you professionals could tell me if there is such a thing as GPS radio? Basically, receiving (Radio/tv?) signals witht the GPS receiver? I heard this from someone, but wasn't able to find any details.

Thanks.

You are talking about two, or more, different frequencies on the same device. This is possible, buit the GPS receiver is not tuned for anything other than the GPS frequencies, with embedded firmware.

I do not know of any products of this nature, but it is feasable.

At the moment this does not exist. The signals from GPS satelites are different from the TV satelites. If there was such a product it would be more like a satelite dish than a small GPS receiver.

Do you mean Satellite radio, such as XM and Sirius?
Sirius is planning to launch video broadcasts in the future.

You can buy a USB adapter to tune to XM radio, which is a paid service. I am not sure about Sirius.
