Please help me choose the software

I've used Tomtom on my pocket PC, and I really like the way that it reads out the directions and show's you the route in the 3D mode.
But I'm soon to be installing my carputer into my car, and I'm going to be using MediaCar, can anyone recommend a GPS program that will operate in much the same way as TomTom, but can be used on a "proper pc" rather than a pocket pc.
For use in Europe too.

Cheers,
Adam.

Probably Destinator will be your best bet.

However, you'll probably find it isn't quite as good as TomTom (which is by far the best IMO)

Yep, it's got 3d mode and voice prompts

I've heard that you can use the SDK along with the PocketPC maps.

I am also deciding on which GPS package to buy. Due to Garry's efforts Destinator seems to be the better integrated with Mediacar. However, iGuidance seems functionally just as good and comes in PC AND PPC versions for <$100.

Should I be cheap and get iGuidance or bite the bullet and get Destinator?

Thanks,

Alric
