In a GPS noob so keep the flame thrower at bay

I was reading the features of CP live and on there site is says:

"NEW! Live Communication between vehicle and home or office, with two-way messaging, vehicle location and itinerary updates."

How does this work? specificly the 2 way messaging?
How does someone online send a message to my gps reciever.

sorry if this is a dumb questions.

Thanks

I'm almost ready to buy, Zip-Lock. But I can't find the technical specs on the CoPilot GPS puck/mouse.

You need to have an internet connection at both ends. When you buy CoPilot Live you can register for an account so you can do this.

Bear in mind, minimum resolution is 800 X 600. I don't use mine because I like to run at 640 X 480 and on a 7" screen, you can't use it. You can't see all the buttons, thats why I use Routis mostof the time.

humm, well that sounds like a pretty useless feature then, how many people have an allways on internet connection in there car? I have wifi in my car but thats only when im near an AP and who wants to use there internet connection on there cellphone and get raped with charges. Knew there had to be some catch with that feature. Anyway, im leaning heavy towards copilot, just need to dig up some more info on the interface options.

how customizeable is it? Can i change the fonts for street names etc?
