CoPilot Live 7 - Special price
I am offering both the CoPilot software and CoPilot w/ software and USB GPS for significantly cheaper then any thing else I could find online. You can either get the software only version (if you already have your own GPS) or a for the version with a bundled USB GPS receiver.
It’s listed here http://www.mp3car.com/store/index.php?cPath=24 The minimum advertised price dictated by the manufacture is listed. Once the item is added to your cart it will reflect the lower cost after an “instant rebate.” You don’t need to do anything to get the rebate other then add the item to your cart.
CoPilot Live is pretty cool. I personally use it in my car, that what I though it would be cool to offer it. It has nice big buttons and it very touch screen friendly with an on screen keyboard.
Please post questions, I’ve been running for several months and I know a lot about it.
Here's a link for more information about it: http://www.alk.com/products/consumer...top7/index.asp
Here’s an action shot from it running in my car:

Zip,
I currently have CoPilot 2003 and love it. It's running on a 7" screen with a 848 x 480 res. In the screen shot above, what res are you running? Also, how is the text to speech engine? Does it still sound like a robot or do they use the newer, more natural sounding, speech? Finally, I know you can customize buttons but is it chossing which buttons are shown or can you chose the size and such?

Mine still sounds like a robot. There is a patch available on the Travroute website, but I haven't tried it yet.

The book says it will work with any NMEA 0187? compliant GPS antenna. Mine works with an old Deluo very well.

I'll have to check my resolution. I have a virgin install of WindowsXp and I didn't tweak the resolution any, so it's whatever the default is. I'll check it just to be sure. It's not distorted at all.
The speech engine isn’t all that. I think you can add different voice font, but I’m not sure how useful it would be. I don't use the voice engine in the first place because I don’t find it very practical, no matter what the voice sounds like. It’s cool to show off to your friends but I don’t use in other then when I’m demonstrating it. I almost always have the music up and the windows down if it's warm. On the driver's screen the fonts are so big (about 3/4") that a quick glance tells you everything you need to know.
I haven't tried to customize the buttons. Shown above is the passenger’s display. The driver's display has fewer buttons and is designed to be easily read while driving, which is does very well.

Zip-Lock,
I'm not quite done with my CarPC yet, but was wondering when the 'Instant Rebate' expires? I will be purchasing soon, but I'm not quite sure when yet.
Thanks for the awesome offer.

End of May or whenever I sell out of what I have, whichever comes first.

Should work fine. I have an Earthmate and it is NMEA compatible. In fact, I have an older version of copilot that works with this gps mouse; only for a few minutes though. Then it says that I need a copilot mouse. Anyways, version 7 will work with the earthmate gps mouse.

It costs over AUD $600 down here
