Computing performance and GPS

What would you guys recommend as a minimum spec for using GPS. I am particularly interested in folk who have used "slow" PCs with GPS.

Thanks!

I use Infomap Navigator on a Dell laptop running a PII 400, 128mb RAM and XP Pro. When I'm selling at shows I can demonstrate that it is perfectly usable on older kit.

I have seen no differences with Destinator 2 on my Epia M10000 and my 2 laptops, one a P4 2.0GHz, the other a P4 3.2GHz w/HT

been running various versions of Delorme Street Atlas since back in the day when my laptop didnt have a cd drive, and you only had room to load a certain number of states on it (486 baby, yeah! those were the days!)

might take a lil longer to get up and running, but once it was running, everything was gravy

Garry, I gotta take a minute to say that has got to be one of the best avatar's i've seen in a long time... maybe its just me, but that really cracks me up. nice work
