Hi

Try Ebay... lots usually on there.

Secondly, it retails for £39.99 or £49.99 depending on gb or europe version..

If you manage to get it, let me know where from!

From what they told me, you could update your current software version with the newer version if you bought it before they make this new version....

I am waiting a bit, as i need the touchscreen buttons etc!

Infomap is ok, but destinator wipes the floor with it, although it is expensive, the onscreen keyboard and 3d maps in destinator are great, I can sort you out, I think I still got it on my server. if your on irc come to quakenet #1337hosts I'll let you have it

Ron

if you dont have irc, click www.1337hosts.com then choose support, it will take you to my channel

The one main problem i have is money.... Can pick up Infomap for approx £30 secondhand. That in itself is a bargain.
Destinator seems to be well within three figures, and tbh my incar pc wont cost that much!

That's very interesting. Whilst Infomap may not be as good as some of the others, it's the only one that has a Linux version. If this new "custom button sizes etc" feature includes the Linux version, I may be tempted...

Irish coverage

Any irish people out there who know of good GPS software for Ireland. All of the maps I hae seen for the UK or Great Britain have very poor coverage of Northern Ireland and even worse of the Republic of Ireland, even Destinator (2 and 3).

Does anyone know what GPS packages are good for cover of Ireland?

Navigator is good for the money; although I've learned not to trust the voice one bit; it often says things like bear left at junctions and roundabouts when it shouldn't. Oddly enough v3 wasn't as bad in that regard.
