I'm pretty sure it's to do with your language settings as you say - but I'm sure it's solvable - I have done a quick change to the debug file - could you download it again (overwriting last one) and try again please... (It must be happening earlier in the code that I first thought)
Again, tell me the last message to appear before runtime 13...

When I get around to it, I only get to spend half hour at lunchtime and an hour in the evenings at most to play around with it!
I've got all the Destinator hooks etc sussed out (The Destinator SDK isn't too bad either, can embed main window into own app etc etc quite easily)

LOVE the new echo effect on the voice warning!
I have to take a couple of fellow managers to a meeting in Slough on Thursday (home of the 20mph speed cameras), this will teach them to laugh at me for putting a 'puter in the car!

Tested Evets in the car last night and worked like a dream.
My in car screen resolution is 640x480 so consequently Evets does'nt display correctly (I think I am seeing the debug screens?), although it its useable. So I await the resizable version.
Please excuse the noob question, but how do I see the data it generates on port 9000? Its obviously not as simple as pointing my browser at //127.0.0.1:9000 ? Once I can see this data I should be able to get Girder to act on it (eg switch from my car radio sound to the carpc sound to hear the camera warnings)
Thanks

very nice but your code is flawed somewhere, say im 250 away from a camera it won't always beep ( the software shows it should ) and sometimes doesn't tell me about the speed camera untill i've passed it ( again i've set it to give me the final warning 200 meters away - software can be saying 50m away and it doesn't say anything... )
also i'f im still and the gps is stable ( no change on map in gps nav) your app flucates nearest cam just wanders about between 50m and 400m
anyone else seeing this?

I noticed this earlier as it happens - must be the 'improved' routines I did !
I'll get my thinking cap on and work a way around the fluctuations.
The announcements not sounding is quite odd, again I'll run through it with a fine toothed comb...

thanks goto - apart from that very nice, the faint beeps are ideal just to alert you somethings near without being annoying - what would be cool is an option to make the "warning speed camera" only sound once per camera otherwise i usually get warned over 5 times coming up to a camera at 30

Still love this application, its cool. An earlier comment said that the database was out of date, and yes its quite old. Is there any new "Road Angel" type updated database coming out soon. Keep up the good work!!
