Stuff
Ok - expiry date has been removed - just download again and overwrite old version - for people who are having problems I've put an install package together that should install the required DLL's and runtimes.
If you ran previous version ok then you can just download the smaller pack.
New version with some bug fixes will be ready in around 10 days.

Thanks. I just need to find a good navigation software for uk for carpc
Destinator SDK voice comand stutters when speedcam is running and so does the add on speed cam Externaldest but i can run my navigator software without the stutter.
mappoint with Voices i am still looking at.
I like navigator but its not meant for a 7"

How about giving it a big clear current speed display and distance to nearest camera, and maybe make all the background flash red of something when near a camera.
I like the program its just a little busy on a 7" display. Have you wrote it using VB, how easy would it be for Coyote to integrate it into the mediacar main screen? Or add a module that can read the data from EvetS and display it through Mediacar.

it seems Mediacar is dead to be honest.. no posts no news from coyote.. nothing.. Its sad to say. I would be tempted to approach one of the few up and coming car media software peeps..

I've got a very similar feature programmed into AIMEE, which will give audible and visible warnings when approaching speed cameras It also tells you when you are going above the speed limit, and there is also the ability to add new cameras as you pass them, if they do not exist on the database

I've had great results using EvetS GATSO detector and Serial Splitter to allow my Nav program and EvetS to use the GPS data simultaniously...
www.pocketgps.co.uk has a database of UK Speedtraps that gets updated every few months, may not be complete, but its better than not having it...
