holux gm-210 drivers
Can somebody please post the drivers they are using for the holux gm-210? I am using it with windows xp and I have frequent problems (such as losing the gps fix, usb scanning problem on start up).
Thanks for the help...

Sorry to dig up an ancient thread, but I'm having a really hard time tracking down these drivers. Holux doesn't appear to care about supporting stuff its not selling anymore...
I'd be IMMENSELY thankful if someone could find the time to post up a copy!

+1, a lot. Very useful to reanimate fortuna U2. Pinouts are exact - i've tested it two years ago.

The Holux Gm-210 use a Prolific PL2303. This is the latest and won't go away for a long time. (XP, Mac, Linux, no Vista)

We prefer com (rs232) connection instead of usb, especially of PL-drivers
Physical COM1: in any program - forever.

Is the PL2303 used for by the 213u too? Dimon, are you saying that using the PS/2 (Mouse) port is better than USB? If so then I'm gonna swap it to free up a USB port for something else.

I just wanted to let people know I found a working Vista driver for my Holux gr-213u GPS receiver. I just tested it out and picked up 7 satellites. I actually found 2 drivers but one didn't work and it took me an hour to realize that newer driver didn't do anything.
