Different GPS Voice's Project!

OK this is my goal; I am looking to make some new voices for gps, (mostly routis)
so I need your help!!!

I am going to post all the words i need someone to record at the end of this post...

please find people with nice voices aka sexy girl you know, if your a sexy girl

yourself, people with accents, for the people out of the country i would love for a Australian girl or a British girl, or any girl with a nice voice, what i ask for you to do is record a wave file (one file) i can cut and paste and do all that stuff, just record the person saying the following text, once you do that please email it to me at coalsi at comcast dot net, or im me on aim coalsi03 and maybe put it up on a website or something, but somehow get me the file, once I get it I can cut and paste and make the files, and upload them to my site for everyone to download. any help would be grateful, thanks, Corey

I thought about that a while ago, and my g/f even tried a few lines, but it's not as easy as you think. Have to have a good mic.. then you have to not just have a good voice, but a well trained voice that can keep the same volume, pitch, etc. Plus that's a lot of words. If you get it going please post it. Although I don't find the voice THAT bad.

yeah i dont find the voice that bad either, i just like having different options ya know, i recorded my voice to try it out, it wasnt too tough to do, i just dont like listening to myself while i drive hahaha

yeah, this is a good idea. i also thought about having a file with just crazy *** words so i could amuse myself while driving. Another cool idea would be to have a really mean routis voice, that just belittled you and made fun of you.

if you play with punctuation and spellings you can get them to sound a little more natural

nah i tried it, but first off it is way to tough to do, on the website you are only allowed to enter in 30 words at a time, and if you dont like the voice and you do it over, you can only do it like 30 times before u can only enter in 10 words, plus the voices are not that real, i mean even if you play with the spelling, its not a real voice ya know i wouldnt recommed, just get a friend to say it all and i will make one for everyone, ps i have the files already made for the computerized lady on that web site if u want, just email me

re:30 word limit.....IIRC, it stores your usage in a cookie - - i.e. on your PC .....think about it

yeah i understand that, i was just making excuses for people to get someone to record a real voice, not a computer generated voice, i dont care how lifelike it sounds haha
