Exclamation GPS in Puerto Rico

Hy everyone, I want to know if someone knows about how the GPS Software and Hardware works here in Puerto Rico, I want to know this becuase Im planning to buy a GPS system for my car to integrated with Media Engine

The hardware should work fine, since it is a "global" positioning system. You will need software that has maps covering your area. I'm not sure which programs do that. Some one gave this answer on the GPS Passion forum

hmm some of the commercial proggies might have it since PR is like the 51st state. even though PR gets treated like ****. unless iraq or alberta becomes the 51st state first....i dunno. anyway back to topic, i'll check tonite see if street atlas does.

if not, you can always at least use GPSS and create your own map of PR and just use it for referencing

Talking AAA Map'n'Go

Dorlorme AAA Map'n'Go that is sold as a package with Delorme Street Atlas Deluxe 2001 has PR in it. Not sure if the newer versions do. Basically it has US, Mexico and the Carribean.

Street Atlas doesn't support PR, Mappoint does, Routis doesn't.
