The new version of the CoPilot software (version 7) requires activation - unless a crack is available, it's worthless to download some pirated copy.

just as a heads up for the pirates and crackers, IGuidance has been aware of our group for some time and does surf around our forums. I spoke with an IGuidance rep last night asking for my tracking number when it was right on my invoice. DOH! very friendly people.

In addition, it is Routis 2004 SDK, refitted by them, using Data something(...at work and can't remember the name of the company) for their GPS data. so the routis maps and IGuidance maps are NOT the same, but on their websites they say both NavTech

mine will be coming in today! SQUEE!

Maybe iGuidance should sell seperately a pc only version for less, or a student version

I don't think anyone is cracking their software.

iGuidance; nice sofrware. Just do a student discount and I am your customer.

btw, I wish they had a way to let the user customize the size of buttons on the software. that would be awesome. assuming it is very similar to routis 2004, it is a pain to click on things at times.

i am still considering to buy the software although it's a little high for me, because the current POI database on routis is crap. I can't even find the most generic stores through POI.

it is a pity for routis because they were late in releasing the new version before the competitors, and already many people are inclined towards guidance.

So the burning question is...

Buy iGuidance 2.0 or wait for Routis 2005? Hrm. Decisions. Decisions.

If the IGuidance people are reading this, can you please produce a version with Australian maps? You can even get the maps from these people:
http://www.about.sensis.com.au/produ...navigation.php

This is an untapped market.. our only option is Copolit for the rediculous amount of about US$700-750.

I had emailed a link to this thread to the support address at iNav last week and a few days ago i got a responce that included this line

"FYI: v2.1 update will be released late August and will include fix for routing to FL as well as major memory improvement to allow coast-to-coast route navigation. Stay tuned!"

I wonder if the things getting changed are preventing the next version of Routis from comming out, or if they are waiting for this to release.

Also just finished a trip from Annapolis to Cape Cod and back with stops in Grotton, western MA, Providence and NJ all with no dirrections and no prior planing. Man do I love having the GSP navagation thing working in my car...
