I bought a USB GPS Mouse that works great. It was $70 or so on eBay. I don't have iGuidance, but it'll definately work because it came w/ USB to serial drivers and offers standard NMEA as well as Rockwell binary.

I also have the GPS Mouse from Ebay. I got it in about 7 days from Hong KOng. $68 with shipping. I locks really fast, just as fast as it takes to load the GPS mapping program.

I used Street Atlas 2004 on a trip his weekend. I was alright. Some of the bottons were to small. And it also didn't give actual driving direction alrets. I definitely need to get a copy of destinator or iguidance.

I have a RoyalTek Sapphire GPS Mouse, and couldn't be happier. It is inside my dash and still picks up and gets a lock fast. I bought it from Wireless Innovations

I am using the serial version of the iTrek http://www.semsons.com/usbseritgpsr.html
with iGuidance v2.0 and a VIA M10000. I am very happy with it. It was reviewed favorably over on the GPS Passion forum.

I've got the deluo GPS with the seperate USB adaptor and it seems to work. I've only been testing it a little as I am still fabricating the carputer. But I can verify that it does work.

I have the DeLORME Earthmate GPS reciever that came with Street Atlas USA and it sucks which is why I am in this thread. It takes a while to acquire enough sats to go 3D and it looses sats in a lot of places

So from what it sounds like I should just purchase a GPS mouse from ebay? Let me know guys, now I have been teased with the luxury of navigation.....Musttt Gettt a goood receiver!!!

Thanks
SB

I know not too many of you guys use linux but I'd like to know if these "USB GPS Mice" units work with gpsdrive on linux, or other platforms. If anyone has one of these ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...714520220&rd=1 ) and has a spare machine with linux or wouldn't mind throwing linux on and testing gpsdrive, you'd make me really happy (and of course posting your results). But perhaps I'll just actually do a little more homework and either answer the question myself or it'll be inconclusive and I might end up with one of these to sell. Or a third option being that I buy http://www.deluoelectronics.com/cust...4&cat=1&page=1 which doesn't seem really that much more expensive based on the total cost of getting one off ebay. (this unit is known to work with gpsdrive and it's pretty inexpensive) .
So if anyone has any information on this, it'd be greatly appreciated. (also I briefly searched the forums but it just seemed like a natural place to post and ask, sorry if this is redundant due to my haste.)

Erm...I would get one that was WAAS - Seems to be a lot more accurate.
This is the best GPS mouse I have seen, does any one have this??

http://www.royaltek.com/proditem.asp...se\rgm2000.asp

Don't think its WAAS tho, but its really small, any more opinoins on this one?
