MS Streets and trips with MS GPS module out tomorrow.

I'm not a big fan of microsoft, but products they have tend to "just work" I'm hoping that their gps module will be of decent quality. Also I've been using streets and trips for a while with no GPS and it seems to be pretty good as is (although 2003 doesn't show the direction of one-way streets). Thought this would be a good idea instead of finding X random GPS module.

What do you guys think?

FYI I'm rebuilding an old pII 233 laptop to put in my car. I'd run linux but there really doesn't seem to be much available, so it looks like XP. I'm going to want to do OBD II scanning/logging and hopefully some real-time gauges too.

Had I known they produced a GPS device, I would have bought it. Streets and Trips 2004 is a good program, though bad to use as a GPS tracker. The Delorme device requires USB to Serial drivers to work correctly, and their Street Atlas 2004 completely blows.

Your Microsoft GPS unit has just recovered from an error. Please unplug it and plug it back in again, then restart Windows.
