Anyone played with Alturion SDK?

Ok, I've been looking at the alturion site and I must say, it looks pretty nice. I quite like the fact that it's skinnable too.

How do you find using it Motoko?

Its simple I need australian maps and i dont think that it has aussie maps

Every time i try to install it, it keeps telling me to install Autosync, but i dont want to use it on a Palm top!! grrrr

I got the professional version, it does everything inc laptop, but i downloaded the autosync.

Kotomo,

Yes you have to install activesync because its assuming you are using it with the PDA.

What version have you got? The full screen mode (night mode) as in my original post is only available in V5.3.

With Alturion and many others the PC and Pocket PC version comes together in one package, not like the mean destinator

Get it from A.B.W.P.G while its there if you wanna play with it.

Opps...the SDK is only for PocketPC

But still the menu and the layout is customisable through the menu

I have already uploaded the file on your site as requested. Im sure I have PMed you about this already but you havent replied. Did the files transfered without any corruption or what?

The free space on my HDD make a difference on your answer. Ill appreciate if you can confirm with a simple YES/NO answer.

Hi Ricky.

I'm starting with Alturion 6 professional and it's SDK on a pc . I'm having a lot of problems. I assume that it's necessary to use VB6 to run the samples from Alturion's web site but none of them works properly. Is it necessary to register any dll's (appart form Alturion GPS.tlb)? In the samples the only thing that works is the "activate" method (the application starts but I can't use any of the objects's propertys or methods)

Any suggestion?
