CoPilot 2002 software CD's

Hey all,

I was really big into the whole Carputer scene a couple of years ago but my interest has wained since I started going to college 3 years ago. Now I'm moving cross country and I figured that I would setup my GPS on my laptop (Mac laptop none the less). I put CoPilot 2002 on Virtual PC and it actually runs great. I'm hooking up my Garmin GPS35 PC gps unit with a serial to USB converter and all seems good so far.

The problem comes now. I live on the east coast and basically only cared about the East Coast CD so somewhere during the past three years my orginal CD's have all been scratched to pieces and thrown away and I'm on my backup CD's. I have the install one and the East Coast CD too and everything's working there. I cannot for the life of me find my West Coast CD. I just need the data for the west coast for this old software.

What can I do?? Can somebody make me a copy of their west coast CD and send it to me (as I have a legit copy of the working software obviously) . I'll throw 10 bucks your way for the time, blank CD and shipping (should cost more than 50 cents materials and shipping. I sorta need this soon as I'm moving in the next week. Thanks alot if anybody has some ideas on what to do.

BEN

Contact TravRoute and see what they say, they would probably replace it if you sent in the scratched one.

Well, given your advice I emailed them. I no longer have the orginal CD's so I don't know what they're gonna say. We'll see.

You may get more luck from them if you include your license code with the email. Even if you've lost the printout or whatever you should be able to pull it from your registry. They should be able to verify that it's valid, and not a nicked code, and honour your request.
