Maybe this could help:

http://www.softick.com/ppp/

The way I see it you'll need 2 PC's or a PC with two COM ports to do this.

To be honest with you 4MB of memory is not gonna do much with TomTom unless you can increase this to 128MB atleast.

Told you never used it before. I just had it laying around and thought it may be usefull to someone. What Ricky327 suggested may be the answer. If you have 2 COM ports you can use the software with a dummy modem cable to sync.
The Palm will try to connect thru COM1 the sync program should use COM2.

I'm tryimg this right now (have 2 COM ports)......I'll post results

Right clicking reveals the emu's menu.
You can do a bunch of things there like Dispplay Magnification.
It has an Install command but I believe it's not for apps....am I wrong?

sounds very good. I will try it. On my palm I use PALM OS GPS from Mapopolis (works very well) browser, SMS and other programs. Nice if this will run on a Car pc!
