it has a nice interface and its good for turn by turn stuff but its actul computations of where to go are **** poor

usually ti sends me all over the place when i could have just easil taken a straight line
it doesnt seem to factor in how many turns are taken, it just tries to find the fastest way by distance
copilot also doesnt factor in highways a lot of the time and will tell you to get on surface streets when you could be taking the highway for a longer time


mappoints directions are simply the beest; it factors in everything and gives you awesome directions



is copilot live any more intelligent?

I couldn't agree with you more! CoPilot uses proprietary maps for the United States and does a very poor job in routing. I believe CoPilot Live are still on the same proprietary maps. I wish the people at ALK would get a clue and use NavTech maps instead.
