I found the site below after getting an idea from my brother (Amateur Radio guy) last night. Apparently you can track yourself and others with the same setup using this software. I briefly looked into WinAPRS (Windows Automatic Position Reporting System) and was wondering if it was a possible alternative to GPS/Weather software (Haven’t read enough to be a guru yet)? The Using Images For Maps section sort of got me hooked with the pretty pictures. As far as the limitation of Amateur Radio go, as long as you don’t send info out, you’re fine. I just wanted to post this to see if anybody else found it interesting.
