heres another - seeing as these are free (and GPSS is open source) maybe one of the software developers cound integrate one of them into their frontend? frodo player is a prome candidate (is a fan of FP)

GPSS is good, and as it is free, it's cool.
Robin's voice can get a bit annoying though.
It can create maps from Mappoint and Auto-route too if you find the application hidden somewhere on the site.

It uses Bitmap rather than Vector maps though too, so things get a little big. It's also missing any decent route adding interface as well ISTR, unless he has developed it further.

yea, the version of GPSS i downloaded is the latest and it doesnt have all those things you said. and yes, im am about ready to kill robins voice - maybe ill look into modifying the program to remove the damn annoying voice - alternatively: my gf has a very sexy voice. i could re-record all of the voices to hers
