Streets & Trips 2004 Autostart GPS

Does anyone know if there's a way to auto start the GPS in Streets & Trips 2004? I want it to automatically track position when I open streets & trips instead of having to go to tools\gps\track position (this is difficult on a 7" T/S at 80MPH). Does anyone know if the 2005 version wil do this? Any help on this is appreciated.

I had been using 2000, and I had to look into writing my own scripts to get this done. I have not seen it ever available on any of MS software, since they are really made for giving directions, not tracking you.

I ended up writing a batch file using some script program and ran that which opened streets and trips, then triggered the GPS tracking.

I am now using Netstumbler with the Mappoint script. This launches everything for me.
