Routis 2004 3d display.

For some reason, Routis 2004 doesn't want to do 3d display after I upgraded to XP sp2. It was working fine before no hardware change has been made. Only XP was "upgraged" to SP2 and various other GPS programs were installed.

Yes, I tried all of 1,2,3 angles but Routis changes back to flat view.
Yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled Routis.
Yes, I googled and called the hardest working guy in this forum called with terms "routis + 3d"
No, I still can't get 3D view working.

Doing uninstall is not enough, you have to make sure that the registry is clean, the "documents and setting" folder/sub folders is clean and that the actual install folder is clean. This is true to any program that you wish to perform clean re-install. Did you do all of this?

Yes, what kingtut said. Majority of uninstall programs do a very "dirty" job at uninstall and leave data all over the place. You must not only wipe out the installation folder manually, but must also delete any profiles saved under the users directory in "documents and settings" and finally the registry. Even then, there are still tracks left sometimes.

Can you be more specific of the error message? I am not sure how Deluo implemented 3D Mode, but you may also want to try to reinstall your Graphics Card Display Driver. XP SP2 install has a tendency to mess with drivers too.

Thanks for the suggestions.
