the good thing about having an uncommon name is that people will always remember who you are. When you have a common name you'll always hear people saying "What was your name again?"

I never get that. Two of my friends are also called David, and one goes to my school and basically has the same schedule. Its kind of hard to forget your own name

Started with some of the mods made by Nanozic using Resource Hacker. Made quite a bit of progress. Still can't get the Main Menu working, seems you can put the buttons where ever you want but the control area is hard coded (I think). Here's a few screenshots...

Here's kinda what I want the Main Menu to look like, but as I mentioned above the control areas don't work.

Did anyone ever figure out a way to make the little black box in the right hand corner show the speed and ETR information bigger? Or did we determine that's impossible?

looking good, that really sucks about the "control area" - To you Programming guys(Frodo,David, etc) is there anyway around this, I beleive this is the problem with the keyboard and the ETA info also - where sooo close

Sorry I came late to this thread and just skimmed it. Instead of copying/creating the entire theme.ini mentioned in the thread, I just created a theme.ini with just the font line in it (STS=20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20). That seemed to expand the fonts nicely without tweeking anything else. Now if I can just get my hands on a nice patched EXE with bigger buttons -- I've got no problems using resource editor but drawing isn't my deal. Perhaps the updated buttons were posted/burried in this thread?

I'm using Routis and was wondering if anyone could post the bitmaps for iGuidance on the Main Menu screen. I like the symbols there a whole lot better then Routis. Thanks.

That's awesome! If I used HEADING UP more I'd do that too! Though with HEDAING NORTH it'd probably look a little weird that my car was driving backwards upt he interstate. hahaha
But on yours, with the 3D mode, that looks absolutely awesome!

Can we post our EXE files on this board?
I made a BMW version of this that a couple people have asked me for. But I don't know what the rules are on giving away the EXE file. I assume it's okay since the file is worthless without all the other files, namely the maps, but I don't want to break any board rules on such a thing.
