Correct. Same thing I'm doing. Trust me, if theme.ini worked, I would have said it a long time ago.

Like I was saying before. I would love to see if someone can get Routis and iGuidance married.

hate to wake this thread up from the dead but i just read all 17 pages and actually spent some time workin thru the resourse hacker and theme.ini . I have two questions. First.. is there any way to change the color for water? Its a little too close to the background color for my taste. I'd like to make it a sky blue or so. Second question. I havent used iguidance in awhile but i seem to remember that highways had a different color than regular roads. When editing the theme.ini file i really didnt know which NMPRC represented which type of road so i made them all the same color. Which NMPRC is the highway? I'd like to change it back. Thanks!

So after not being able to get access to the theme2.ini, I decided to use a hex editor to see what hard coded strings were in the exe. So here is the total list of codes that the iGuidance v.2 exe appears to be reading from the theme.ini file. Some of them have been talked about before, others it will probably take some testing to figure them out.

Hey guys check out the thread I started about the SDK for iguidance. With the SDK we can solve all the problems that are stated in the thread that the theme.ini file does not cover.

read til ya see gibberish
copy the gibberish
paste the gibberish into notepad
save gibberish as theme.ini (NOT theme.ini.txt)

I have done this and seen no changes. I have the newest version of iGuidance, is that why?

i have done it too on the new iguidance and at the beggining i saw nothing. then i restarted the pc and it all worked out. make sure the file is theme.ini cause sometimes when you edit it it is called and seen as theme.ini but is actually theme.ini.txt
remember to restart and it has to work..

I restarted once I know but I will try that again. I am very aware that it has to be theme.ini and not theme.ini.txt

sometimes windows hides the extension and it still looks as a .ini file..
but if you are sure about it i guess there is something else wrong. I did the same thing to both mine and my friend's carpc and it worked.
try making a new file and add only

; street name font size in points @ zoom level
STS=20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20

save it as theme.ini and try again... this only makes street font size a lil bigger change the 20 to a bigger number for larger font..
Else i guess i would install Igudance again

copy file and try it..
