Hehe ;-) I suspected that is what you meant ;-) So you want to get rid of it completely? Then I assume the speedometer on your Lexus is functional and you prefer to use it because it is of a bit larger size than the iGuidance speedometer ;-)
It is refreshing to hear a feature request that does make sense and actually makes the interface cleaner. This does deserve to be added to the wish list ;-) Would you then want the ETA, REM, and DEST to show up once you set your destination? The speed is useless as far as I'm concerned as well. It's just a waste of resources ;-)
I never thought of getting rid of it before, but I do find the proposition quite appealing now. My long time wish though has been to increase the size of the information rectangle so we can see the ETA/REM/DEST in larger size. In my setup I do use a small keyboard attached to the dashboard, and I've always wished for a keyboard shortcut that would let me cycle thru ETA/REM/DEST.

Actually I wanna get rid of it because its too small and I'm gonna have a huge one build into iGSkinner, so I don't need the old one

Well... since you asked... I just returned from a trip to the US where everthing is imperial measurement (well... the US version) and my car is fully metric (Canada eh). However small, it was nice to have good old MPH so that I didn't **** the Stateys off too much. I can do the conversion in my head, but it just feels better seeing it. It just drives me nutz that it's so small. Also... when you set a destination, you loose the speedo display in favor of remaining distance to destination. It would be nice (0|33|) if it displayed both speed and distance... or what ever we required or configured. I am very impressed and excited that you are coding for this without benefit of and SDK.
Thanks a Million!

SDK? I'm having to do a workaround for everything because iNav refuses to make an SDK

I thought that's what I said... And BTW... Thanks very, very much for going to the trouble.... I really appreciate and admire anyone who gives their spare time for nothing other than the benefit of others.

Where can I find more details? If this iGskinner takes care of some of the things I am 'hacking my way into' through ResHacker, I'd rather know it so I don't waste more time

Still need to get the alogrithm right for getting rid of the nag screen, otherwise I run into trouble
