It should improve shortly because the site is going to be moved to a faster server. Currently gpspassion.com has over 15,000 unique daily visitors, and over 3,500,000 pages viewed each month.
That would explain what was going on last night. I couldn't get on to any of GPSPassion's pages. Some good stuff over there IIRC.

Marvin,
I was just wondering. I read your last post at GpsPassion about "The Magnifier". Are you able to load that program once iguidance starts? Or does it have to load upon startup?

Actually my solution is something which most people in this forum will likely not find interesting, because in my setup I use a small keyboard instead of a touch screen. And since I control everything iGuidance related with my keyboard I created a hotkey that will: 1.) Start iGuidance and Magnifier at the same time. 2.) When the hotkey is used when iGuidance already runs, it will minimize iGuidance and it will at the same time close Magnifier. 3.) When iGuidance is minimized, the hotkey will restore iGuidance and it will start Magnifier.

How'd you get an "ETA" on yours? I didn't know that was available.

Marvin, could you share how you created this hotkey?

Go to his website. He has a program called IGKey or something like that. It utilizes several hotkeys to accomplish functions in IG.
Michael
P.S. ETA appears when you are in guidance mode. That is after you have entered an address and have began your trip to the location, ETA appears. Marvin is using a magnifier program to enlarge and display the information.

Thanks, but it is not my website, even though I do spend a lot of time there
I just started to use The Magnifier recently, and even though I have been testing and improving the hotkey for the function for a while, I never took the time to integrate it to iGkeys. But I just needed this little kick this morning ;-)
Here it is, new version of iGkeys, incorporating support for The Magnifier: http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/t...TOPIC_ID=26018

Who said nothing good comes out of Canada? Certainly not me.
I thought it was "your" site Marvin. I apologize for the mis-information.

Marvin,
I run my iGuidance from within a front end (frodo). Is it true that I should not be using the magnifier as it will magnify the front end when it is focused instead of GPS? Is there a way to get around that? Thanks

Hey Marvin, I just downloaded iGKeys. I am mainly just using it for CTRL + Q for the magnifier.
I have iGuidance embeded into Centrafuse Front End. Ig i have the screen on GPS Magnifiers works great but if i switch to something else like Media or an other screen that it is not show iGuidance, the magnifier is still there but showing whatever spot i locked into on the screen. I was wondering if there is a way to have magnifier only show when i am at the GPS screen in Centrafuse.

I will leave that one up to the front end gurus here at this forum. I have no experience in the area. I just run WinXP with no front end.
(But if some idea comes up, I will share...)
P.S. When iGuidance is not being used The Magnifier should be closed. When you re-open it, it will always be where you need it (the same place).
