Please send me the file to increase font size.

I have problems reading through posts and using cut/copy

Between skinbedded and Marvin's mod's IGuidance is becoming a touchscreen friendly app. I have been staying away from this because of no available SDK but after looking at this thread I'm going to have to re-install IGuidance.

OL33L the zoom app is very cool, great solution.

1) Download the correct one for your iG version.
2) Delete the " (xxx).txt" so it is "theme.ini" or "ctheme.ini".
3) Put it in the same folder as iGuidance.exe
Normally "c:\program files\iNav\iGuidance"

Note: The one for 2.1 and 2.1.1 are the exact same except for the name. The one for 2.0 has the same name as the one for 2.1.1 but its contents are different. I do not have 2.1.1, but I have been told that the same ini for 2.1 works fine if you just rename it. I believe there are a few other settings in 2.1.1 that don't work in 2.1, but I am not sure of that either (I do know that a few settings that were posted in this thread caused my 2.1 to not start, so I believe those only work in 2.1.1).

If there are any setting I missed in my collection from this thread and the one on gpspassion (that work in 2.1) then please post them. I would like my 2.1 ini file to be complete.

Wow! 424 replies and 29 pages! No wonder people keep asking for the file.

Who wants to be the brave sole to take the "useful" information from this thread and make it a new thread that's actually useable?

RPM_VR4, are you using iGuidance 2.1? I have 2.1 and the colors for the small and local streets (last 2) are not working for me. I tried your ctheme.ini and they still show in the original gray color. I tried changing them to a bunch of other values yet the colors still remain the same.

I'm wondering if it's just my iGuidance.

I use 2.1. My local streets are gray I believe, but I think I made them that way on purpose (maybe, you could verify that by looking up the color code in ctheme.ini). I'm fairly sure I sucessfully change the colors of ever different street at every zoom level. I spent hours and hours playing with all the settings. Maybe you are trying to change it in the wrong place?

rpm, I'm using your ctheme.ini file that you posted right now. This is what my iGuidance looks like. Notice how the major roads' colors are correct but the local roads' colors are the default gray. I'm wondering if it's just my iGuidance or is it the same for everyone else.

If I recall correctly, the "old way" of doing this doesn't work. That is exactly what you are experiencing: you are not changing color of some of the road types. I played with this a while back, and if memory serves this could actually work if you use any of the other three color schemes (not White). But White (and black) is my favourite as well, so after a few unsuccessful attempts to change road colors I just gave up.

I hope iNav will eventually come up with the proper *.ini file for newer iGuidance version(s).

If your reason for changing colors is to be able to easier see the difference between local roads and main roads, you could accomplish that by changing road width. For example use 1 pixel width for local roads, and 2 pixels for main roads. But here again you may notice that in the White color scheme the "pixel numbers" in *.ini work "funny" ;-) But it is doable.

Marvin, that's what I'm doing. You can see that GALLOWS RD is 2 pixels and TYSON OAKS is only one pixel. I stil want to change their colors though. So I guess it's not possible with this version of iGuidance?

Well, at least I can change the major roads' colors.

Edit: Marvin, you're right. The colors do change in other schemes. It just doesn't work in white and black.

b8bboi: I suspect it is possible to successfully change color values of all road types in all four color schemes, but we just don't know how at this moment.

The problem is that all we really have is the old theme.ini that was designed for iGuidance 2.0. That version of iGuidance only had one color scheme. Subsequent iGuidance versions (2.1, 2.1.1, etc) have 4 color schemes, so if we knew how to properly modify the *.ini we would likely be able to change colors perhaps even different road colors for each of the four color schemes.

tbird2340: If you are asking why you don't see ETA on the picture above, then the reason would be that the map has been panned. Hit Esc on you keyboard, or click (tap) the red "X" button in the lower right of the window to return (and to see the ETA box).

Still have to add the zoom feature for ETA and Speed but here is a screen shot so far.

We are working on a new skin, we will release the graphics on mp3car.

How do I exit skinbedder? I was planning on adding a button with key's alt-F4 but the .ini file doesn't like that.

Some of the slower systems we use have problems playing movies and GPS at the same time so I need a way to quickly close it without a keyboard.

I'm not asking why I don't see it in any of the pictures I'm asking why I don't see it on my screen ever? I can't find anything in the program itself to turn it off/on so I don't know how to get it?
