You wont have a theme.ini in the default directory....just place the one you made in the default directory and start Iguidance- make sure you have the "hide file extentions" unchecked before you rename the file because you will have a theme.ini.txt file instead - that wont work
music - whats different in your ini file
does anyone know if we can edit the zoom buttoms to make them bigger using this theme.ini file

theme2.ini is an advanced settings file. As I understand you rename it theme.ini and use it instead of the other theme.ini. It changes other appearances on the map. Can anyone back me up with more info?

I just wish there was a way to change the size of the menu buttons... I have to use a stylus in my car because of how small the iguidance buttons and menus are... I saw someone who was able to make them any size he wanted at the last meet I went to. The just used a resource editor to open up the exe, extract the bitmaps from it... then chagned there size and put them back in... They had tripled the size of the zoom buttons and it looked awesome, but I haven't had time to try it yet...
EDIT: Just went and downloaded Resource Hacker from
http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/
Use that program to open up the iGuidance.exe and under Bitmap you will see all the buttons.. Now someone just needs to make a larger button, import them all into the iGuidance.exe, and re-save it out...
You can change just about everything through this program... Street and Highway icons, Whats displayed in the file menu, what the hotkeys are, all the icons, you name it... I haven't actually changed and saved anything back out yet, but I know it should work because I saw it running modified in someones car...

Someone figure out a way on how to move the positions around.

It appears that it is centering the image. So make another image that is twice as tall as the one you are using now... Make it transparent and then place your new button at the top of your new tall image... This way it will visually raise the button on the screen because of the empty space below the button... It might work...
