Iguidance here. Feel like its still a little more touchscreen friendly then CoPilot, but I do believe CoPilot was a tad bit better with routing. Test drove it for a couple days before returning it, never really liked it.

Yes! Just make sure you installed the Delorme Driver that allows you to use 3rd Party software which makes it work in NMEA mode @ 4800 baud. Earthmate USB i should clarify.

CoPilot 8. Way more touchscreen friendly than IGuidance. Make sure you change your options to show the taskbar and the on-screen keyboard. This program rocks on a small screen like the Lilliput. I have to lean over real close to be able to read the next turn with IGuidance. Wish it was a little more integrated and had newer maps, but overall, the driver directions screen is great for safety.

check out http://www.alk.com for screenies
I'm partial to the copilot series, I've used them since 2002 and I like it. With 7 & 8 now you get the capabilities for vehicle tracking and instant messaging / route messaging. Comes in handy if you need an address, just call someone that you give a tracking number for your vehicle to and they can get the address and send it to you, then one click of a button and you are heading to that new address.

Can either of them tell me where every White Castle in the nation is, like Streets & Trips can?
I'm not trying to be a dick, but there's a WC in Yonkers, NY, which for me was harder to find than the holy grail.. I stumbled upon it once a couple of years ago and could never find it again until Streets showed me the way two weeks ago!

I'm wondering also if anyone has tried co-pilot live laptop 8 with Centrafuse. I like the looks of copilot but it does not appear to be small screen friendly because of the menu on the right side. I'm not sure if this menu is customizable and unfortunately I can't find any trial version to give a shot. I left ALK an email today but I'm not optimistic on a trial version.
Does anyone have any experience with it maybe some screen shots on a lilli or xenarc screen?
Thanks,
Chuck

No experience with Copilot, so I don't know how large the menu is that you speak of.. but (I'm sure you were already aware of this) you can "maximize" the GPS screen in CentraFuse by tapping where the song title is.. Would that be of any help?
Can't wait for the next CF release!!

copilot is perfect for touchscreens like the xenarc, that's what i have and it is fine.
you won't find any trials, ALK does not offer trials, only a 30-day money back guarantee thing.

Thanks for the replies. The top image was take from ALK's website and the bottom is Destinator 3 taken from Ninja Monkey's post http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/map-monkey/38910-map-monkey-screenshots-here.html. As you can see the menu along the right side takes up a bit of room. I like the look of Destinator as far as filling up the screen but I think co-pilot is better suited for my needs. I'm just not sure how it would look integrated within Centrafuse. It does help that the screen can be enlarged by double clicking the title bar but I'm not sure how it will look embedded. Maybe the GUI is customizable to allow a full map screen?

I think Copilot might integrate pretty nicely.. here's what the GPS part looks like fullscreen (looks like Routis running), but should give you an idea of how much is of the screen is still in use by Centrafuse..
and the "windowed" mode for comparison:
[edit: added comparison]
