Delorme Problems

Ok i just installed the new version of Map Monkey... and i havent used my gps for some time now, so i dont think the problem is with the program...

but my computer will no longer recognize the Delorme USB as a serial device... i have the usb-to-serial drivers installed, i even uninstalled and reinstalled them, but the gps device is recognized under "Human Interface Devices" in the Device Manager instead of the "Ports (COM)" section

does anyone have any idea why this has happened or how i could fix it?

Select that "Human Interface Device" and click Update driver and start from there.

Select the one under Human Interface Device and update the driver. I cant remember what it's called exactly, but it starts with USB.
