Am i dumb or blind or thick?

After much 'ing and much 'ing, I can't work out how you guys are doing this. I have just brought Destinator 3, From seeing a lot of pictures and screenshots of it running on carpc's. What i can't work out is how you guys are doing it, when i goto install it, its asking me where the sync device is? I don't have a PDA or want to use one, I want to use my car computer.

Any one want to point me in the right direction.
