Questions about Holux GM-210 GPS Reciever

I see these on Ebay auctions all the time and I am wondering if it is a decent GPS receiver? Here is a link to ebay with some information about them http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4668&item=57517453 36&rd=1

Thanks for any info anyone can give me.

I have the GR-211 on ebay its called the gm-211 however when you get the product the book says GR-211. My GR-211 works great with all the gps software, it is very small in size compared to the 210. Semenago is where I purchased my at. 79.00 plus 20. for shipping.....Shipping is a bit outrageous, but the size is small and is usb.

Picked up one of these 210's for my setup. has worked great for my tests in house. Haven't installed in car yet but as long as it gets a signal its been pretty close to where I was.

I have the Holux GM-210 stuck on the roof of my car for around a month, and it works like a charm. Its been exposed to extreme weather (storms and also under the Aussie sunlight!) and it is still working well. I personally think Holux did well in the waterproof thing (I could be wrong as I havent really opened it up and dont know whether water managed to sneak into the mouse. Hope not!)

See it in action on my roof here: http://hihidamon.gfoto.com

Warning!! I accept no responsibilities or whatsoever for damages to your gps and carpc if you put it in the rain. Do this at your own risks!

you guys think this is a better alternative to the BU-303?

Mine crapped out, and I cant get anybody to claim responsibility for covering the warranty. I dont want to buy another GPS that has to be shipping from Hong Kong.

This unit is definately better than the BU-303 although I'm having an issue with my Holux being recongnized by the PC, seems the PC only recognizes it once in a while more so towards the afternoon/evening..go figure
