looking for a program that will tell me lat/long coords, not street directions

i just started doing some "geocaching" ( www.geocaching.com ) .

I need a program that will just tell me lat/long ... and let me add waypoint lat/longs... kind of like the little handheld GPS units.

this is kind of how it works:
you get the first coordinates off the website ... you drive there, and try to find the "clues", and find the 2nd coordinates written somewhere ... walk/drive to the 2nd locations, etc...

it's kind of like a scavenger hunt for coordinates lol...

thanks for any suggestions!

I am in the proccess of an app that will show you the lat/long. It doesn't allow for waypoints yet but it will. Info here:

If I remember correctly, this great free program Compasss from our member Curiosity does display/show Latitute and Longtitude.
If you use this program along with Xport2 also from Curiosity, you will have virtual comport. With Virtual comport, you can run as many GPS app as you like. To navigate to specific Lat/Long, use MapMonkey D3 with manual input.

I can see it now, some guy pulls into the parking lot of a public park, realizes the location for the geocache item is in the pristine green park somewhere but only has his carputer GPS. The man looks down at his screen, then looks up the park, looks down at the screen, and again looks up at the park, shrugs, and then just goes up the parking lot curb and begins driving around in the grass trying to find the ubber geocache treasure, trampling all over the picnic baskets and plastic frisbees hehe.
