Well, that in fact confirms that in your case, it is the screen and not something else. Physical seperation is one way to resolve the problem though sufficient seperation may not be possible in your car. Did/Can you try changing the refresh rate on your screen. I have heard that sometimes clears the problem. Also, what screen are you using. Is it molded into the dash, or still in it's case?
