Has anyone tried this out?

My Carputer will be based on a laptop. I have one slot empty so I am thinking of getting this and saving my USB slot since I only have one. Has anyone tried this or have any recommendations on whether to get a USB GPS or this one? Thanks.

Haven't used that card (or any CF card for that matter), so I can't say if its any good or not.

But you do realize that you can have 127 devices connected to a USB host (128 minus the host itself), right? Sure, bandwith will become an issue if you're using USB HDDs or cams, but don't think that only having one USB port will limit you to using only one USB device - thats what hubs are for.
