Google creates Google Satellite mapping
Google has today announce d google Satellite mapping for the Northern USA.
Screenshot below - the data looks very good and of decent resolution:

Sweet! I was wondering how long it would take them to integrate the satellites, after they released the directions and all.
Now, is there a way to integarte GPS over a network connection with this?

We dont even have satellite images of decent quality....
Check the "new monkey mod in town" thread @map monkey forum for integration into carpc of satellite images... almost released... (not dependant on mapmonkey)

I got a picture of boston but it was kind of inverted... I put my laptop upside down and then the buildings looked upright! heehhe... looked REALLY weird at first, it appears as if the satellite was looking down and the image wasnt flipped up... oh cant explain...
